The spirit of Imagine Tours

An association devoted to the culture and language of Greater Occitania.

A passion born in 2004

Imagine Tours is a non-profit association (French loi 1901) founded in 2004, dedicated to promoting the culture and language of Greater Occitania: its landmarks, its culinary and artisan products, and the folklore that surrounds them.

Led by David E. Price and a team of passionate local members, the association keeps Provençal and Occitan heritage alive every day, and shares it with visitors from around the world.

Recognition & support

The association is supported by many public bodies, including the City of Avignon and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region. It is also recognised by UNESCO and listed in the Rick Steves guide, one of the great references in travel.

Throughout the year, Imagine Tours funds and organises many local cultural activities, festivals, concerts and walks, and broadcasts two radio stations: Radio Coupo Santo in Occitan and Friendly Radio in French.

Tailor-made excursions

Our visitors are offered personalised excursions, in the company of our guides and local members, to suit their wishes: by car, on horseback, by bike or on foot.

We also assist them with bookings for hotels, guest houses, restaurants, language or cooking schools, and all the logistics of their stay.

A close link with local partners, for the traveller's peace of mind and safety: support in case of difficulty (health, legal protection), privileged partnerships with producers, and connections with cultural institutions.

To keep culture alive

A wide offer of information and cultural activities for members and local partners, and the development of ideas and projects, both cultural and in communication: Radio Coupo Santo, Friendly Radio, calandreta, stands.

Working closely with people passionate about history and the life of the region, the association is a true cultural force that has kept evolving over all these years, and is only waiting for you to add your own mark.
